Operations Office Assistant

Let’s Get to It:

G&G Electric is seeking a high-caliber Operations Office Assistant to join our Granbury team. This isn’t just a “clerical” job; you will be the operational heartbeat of our office, ensuring that every service call, permit application, and customer follow-up is handled with precision. We are looking for a proactive professional who can master our current systems and grow alongside our leadership team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Service & Estimate Coordination: Answer incoming calls, qualify customer needs, and schedule our service teams and estimators for maximum efficiency.
  • The “Follow-Up” Engine: Own the estimate lifecycle. You will ensure customers receive their bids, follow up to answer questions, and check in on unaccepted estimates to help close the loop.
  • Permit & Compliance Coordination: Manage the paperwork that keeps our jobs legal and moving. This includes pulling permits with the City of Granbury/surrounding counties and ensuring all vendor insurance (COIs) and W-9s are current.
  • QuickBooks Data Support: Assist with logging payments and accurate data entry within QuickBooks Online to keep our project records pristine.
  • Digital Communication: Utilize Slack for real-time internal coordination and Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets) to track office tasks and project milestones.
  • Customer Experience: Conduct “Happy Calls” after job completion to ensure our high standards were met and to encourage online reviews.
  • Office Logistics: Manage daily mail, filing, and essential bank runs.
  • Assist Where Needed: Help out and assist where needed with other tasks like event planning, running errands, and helping the office team on projects.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Are Tech-Fluent: You are a “power user” of QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace, Slack and AI Tools. You prefer digital solutions over paper trails.
  • Are a Strong Communicator: You can navigate a phone conversation with a frustrated customer or a busy General Contractor with ease and professionalism.
  • Possess “Operational Foresight”: You don’t just wait for tasks; you see that a permit is expiring or a follow-up is due and you handle it.
  • Are Adaptable: You are comfortable learning new workflows and can pivot as company needs evolve.
  • Requirements: Valid driver’s license (for bank/permit runs) and a high level of discretion and integrity.

What You’ll Get:

  • Competitive Pay: Based on your experience and technical skill set.
  • A Path for Growth: Opportunity to take on increased responsibility as the company expands.
  • Benefits: Health insurance options and retirement plan.

PTO: Paid Time Off and a professional, supportive work environment.

Warehouse & Fleet Assistant

Let’s Get to It:

Are you a highly organized individual who takes pride in maintaining equipment and managing inventory? G&G Electric is looking for a dependable team member to support our warehouse operations and oversee the maintenance of our 25-vehicle fleet. If you value safety, integrity, and keeping a shop running like a well-oiled machine, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Total Fleet Oversight: Manage PM records and maintenance schedules for 25 vehicles +, ensuring oil changes, inspections, and tire rotations are performed on time to minimize field downtime.

  • Equipment & Trailer Readiness: Direct responsibility for the maintenance and safety inspections of trailers, forklifts, and other lift equipment. This includes tracking hour meters for lifts and checking trailer tires, bearings, and lighting.

  • Asset Tracking: Maintain a centralized log of where trailers and large equipment are located (which job site or if they are at the shop).

  • Warehouse Support: Assist in receiving and organizing electrical materials, keeping the shop staged and ready for morning crew load-outs.

  • Tool Library Management: Track and maintain high-value company tools, ensuring they are returned in working order and tagged for repair if broken.

  • Clean and Neat: Keep the shop and the yard clean of trash and debris and ensure inventory, equipment, tools, etc. are organized and neat. It’s important that our shop presents well and you’ll be responsible for that.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:

  • Mechanical Aptitude: You understand basic maintenance intervals for both internal combustion and electric lift equipment.
  • Trailer Proficiency: Comfortable inspecting and occasionally maneuvering trailers within the yard.
  • Detail Driven: You enjoy the “paperwork” side of maintenance—keeping clean digital folders for every VIN and Serial Number in the fleet.
  • Safety First: You understand OSHA requirements for forklift inspections and trailer safety chains/lights.
  • Certifications: Ability to operate a forklift (or willingness to be certified) is required.

What You’ll Get:

  • Competitive Pay: Based on your experience in logistics and fleet coordination.
